Weekly review with BDOs and SDOs of four Sub divisions of Burdwan Rural today discussed Progress of paddy procurement today at 12 noon at VC room, DM Office.
- DCFS Burdwan was also present to presented block wise position on the progress of Paddy Procurement by CMR agencies and Rice mills.
- 1.16 Lakhs MT paddy purchased so far.
- There are 53 Paddy Purchase Centres running in blocks/ by PACS.
- 10 more direct purchase centres to be operational in next three days.
- 25 Additional purchase officers of ECSC deputed.
- Paddy purchase progress is smooth and good.
- All Rice mills directed to purchase paddy at Rs 1250 per Qtl.
- DCFS asked to increase the vigil over rice mills and ask Quality Control Teams to visit rice mills.
