QBR is scheduled to reach Burdwan on 2nd August 2010. All preparations already decided. Review at the highest decision making level shall be doen on 21st July at 2 pm at DM Bungalow Office, on 23rd at 2 pm at Durgapur and after 2 pm on 24th July at Asansol. Govt sanctioned Rs 4 lakhs, rest amount to be mobilised locally by the event managers and partners.

Sir, the Sub Committee for exhibition at 6:30 AM at Lok Sanskriti mancha held meetings on 16-7-10 & 20-7-10 and has made a preliminary plan of Exhibition. Photos will be supplied by MGNREGS Cell, DICO, ZP, Sanitation Cell, DRDC. A table will be set showing the handicrafts of Burdwan to be manned by PD DRDC. The Exhibition will be at the lounge of Lok Sanskriti Mancha. A film show (Docu) on the cultural aspects of the District will be made continuously (to be supplied by DICO) in the hall till the start of the main programme.
