Aranya Saptah has been organised from 14th to 1st July 2010 in the district. We ordered massive plantation in Institutions, Households out of NREGA funds during the programme. I received a letter in Bengali with a packet of plant seeds in a plastic cover attached to it from BDO Galsi II. The seeds are required to be sown at home. I'll certainly sow the seeds, to grow plant which will develop into the greenery in coming days. I believe this personal request to the recipients of the letters will be cost effective, easy way of making the Aranya Saptah successful and reach to all the interested households easily.
