Sir, On 08.05.10 visited several sites of NREGA in Kalna -I accompanied by BDO,Sabhapati and pradhans of 3 gps .Good work is being done by the team of Kalna I. BDO wishes to start the work along Banka irrigation canal.Details of the project will be taken up with DNO. To gear up the speed of work in Purbasthali I and II it is suggested that DNO spare some time on 19th May with the NREGA machinery of the two blocks. The performance in some of the GPs is extremely dismal.
