Our web pages launched fro GPE 2013 have been very useful and liked by people during Nomination process. Now, we have decided to upload all information on different administrative arrangements and helplines for the use of all those deputed for election duties.
Interested person can get information and help on :-
- Location and contact numbers of DCRCs at Blocks where polling personnel are required to report. Contact phone numbers are available to communicate in case of any exigency.
- Transport arrangements to pick up from Railway Stations or main Bus stands to DCRCs and back after poll duty is over. Routes, timings of departure and contact persons to help are noted. There will be help counters at important halting stands/ stations.
- Medical arrangements from Primary Health Centres onwards up to District Hospital. Control room numbers of CMOH/ ACMOH at Sub division are available. In case of any emergecy, help may be sought.
- Disaster Management Teams are being deployed in all low lying areas and flood prone GPs with trained Civil Defence volunteers for rescue and relief measures. Contact numbers and names of volunteers are available on the website.
- General contact numbers of election machinery at Blocks and district are also given.
- Public information on Poll day will also be made available.
