One destitute woman looking very fragile and ill, namely Aleya Bagam, met DM Burdwan this morning and requested to get sanction of house to her as she has nobody to take care and no shelter. She is 70 years old and stays at c/o Abdul Oyahid of Mathrun GP Simulia-I under Mongolkote block. She approached Hon'ble CM Office and was advised to meet DM Burdwan.
Considering the condition and need of the destitute woman, a sum of Rupees one lakh sanctioned today and BDO Mangalkote advised to ensure construction of her house over two decimal land she owns. The funds has been sanctioned under Destitute Women Rehabilitation Programme. 49 persons have been benefited so far under the scheme.
