Visited SNCU Durgapur work site.
- All civil works completed and electrical works including ACs to be completed by 31st December 2012.
- Hospital authorities advised to complete procurement of equipments and instruments by end of January 2013.
- Govt has been moved to place the services of six doctors, 9 nurses and 12 GDAs/ Nabjat Sahayika by end of January and complete their trainings for running SNCU by middle of March 2013.
- We hope to make it fully operational by end of March 2013.
SNCU at Asansol made operational in January 2012 and that of Burdwan is likely in few months. PWD completed works of these units in record time under close supervision of district administration.
OPD building of Durgapur is also completed. Happy to see good works in Durgapur hospital. SDO AND chairman RKS advised to restore parks and beauty the compound with help from ADDA.
