Booth Level Meetings on 25th March 2009 at 13.00 hrs at each booth of Nadia district - BLAs and BLOs to attend.

Next meeting of Booth Level Officers and Booth Level Agents of recognised political parties shall take place at 13.00 hrs sharp at all polling booths throughout Nadia district as decided in all party meeting on 17th March 2009. Those who were photgraphed during 16th February 2009 to 15th March 2009 by the camera teams of Permanent EPIC Centres/ off site teams, can collect their EPICs from BDO offices from 18th March 2009 to 31st March 2009 either personally of through authorised family members having proper identification and ofcourse on production of papers issued by EROs/ AERO. EPICs can also be collected from the sub block level locations to be notified by BLOs in booth level meetings on the dates so fixed. EROs have been asked to hold Assembly Segment level meetings of Standing Committes prior to 25th March 2009 and also to complete orientation workshops with BLOs so that the mechanism of Booth Level meetings is effective in improving EPIC coverage, identification of missing electors, continuous updation of electoral rolls. BLOs should be directed to ensure that these meetings are held on the date and time fixed and any absenteeism among BLOs shall be viewed seriously.
